Trip to Metz, France
This morning we took the TGV (train à grande vitesse aka train at high speed) to visit the Alsace region of France, more specifically the city of Metz. Our first stop is the museum Pampidou, a museum located in Paris which has built this extension at Metz.
The museum is one of modern art.

The town of Metz (where poet Paul Verlaine was born.) The town really has that feel of an old, authentic European town

The cathedral Saint- Etienne. It's nicknamed God's lantern because it has the most stained-glass of any church in the world.
