Day 1

I arrived in Paris at 6am and have barely slept- it's 10pm. And being sick is not helping at all. So far, every one is so friendly (who ever said the French were rude?? lol we'll see if that changes later.) I have yet to see the major sites (the Eiffel tower, Notre dame, etc.) but I have seen a lot of sushi places. A LOT. We're currently staying in a hotel in the Bastille area, in the 11th arrondissement. The rooms are so tiny, but they have everything. Leave it to the Europeans to find a way to fit everything neatly in a tiny space.

Dinner was at "Cafe l'Industrie) and yes wine truly is big here, that's no stereotype.

I can't wait to move in with my host family. I'm nervous, but just ready to settle in already
