Day 13

It's Monday! The start of the week in France-- not Sunday like in the U.S. Geez Fahrenheit vs. Celsius, Metric vs Standard, now the days of the week! Must we do everything differently?
Anyway, nothing really exciting today. It was my first day of class and if anyone hates Mondays, it's me: I have four classes back to back. My day starts at 9:30 and ends at 6:30 with only an hour and a half break in between.

My first three classes are in French, so by the time I got to the last one I had to take a moment to switch my brain back into English mode. It's very interesting having three languages running around in your head. It makes for terrible spelling, so thank you for spell check on this blog. My class notes are not so lucky: is it cinamon, cinnamon, or cinammon. I settled for cinammon, which I now see is wrong. Oops.

Found a Mexican restaurant after class, the guacamole and tortilla chips were good; can't wait to go back and try the tacos. The place was pretty authentic, playing only Latin music and selling Coronas and Negra Modelo. The two very light skinned French guys working was a little odd though. That's all for tonight, à demain!
