Phonetics sucks. I should give it a second chance, but I don't really have more time before add/drop ends so it's a DROP. Now I'm free all day on Tuesdays :)
Went to the 6th arrondissement after class with a friend to find the bakery Pierre Hermé. We got off at St. Germain des Prés (famous for all the intellectuals, like Hemingway, that chilled here.) The macaroons at the bakery were delicious and there were so many different options. The rose flavored pastries apparently were made with real flowers... I'm not sure about what part(s) of the flower they used. The cheesecake was good; not the best I had. I found it was kind of sour. We decided to take refuge under the St. Sulpice church from the rain only to be harassed by two bums! The church became very famous after being mentioned in Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code.
