Went to Galeries Lafayette today (the big dept. store, it's like their 34th st. Macy's I guess.) I was reminded at every touch of an item of how poor I really am. Everything was on sale, So the 500 euro shoes were down to 300 lol. No, but some things were cheaper than in the U.S. if you looked at the conversion rate.

The premiere to Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows was tonight at the REX cinema and Jude Law was there! The tickets were sold out so no movie for us, but we got to see him and he even waived at our group after one of us screamed, "We're from America! We love you!"
Next...
We hit up "the Australian Bar," but drinks are too expensive, so we decide to go to this place where they serve wine in baby bottles for 2 euros a bottle. The place is in the 18th district and is so small, but very cool. It was at full capacity so we'll return another night at an earlier time.
