Day 66

The weather is getting nicer here in Paris so the days must be spent outdoors discovering more and more of beautiful little Paris! Decides to go to the Jardin des Tuileries, once a royal garden now open to all (after the French Revolution) but apparently you can't sit on the grass. What kind of crap is that? Anyway, the park is nice and has a view of the Eiffel Tower, the obelisk at the Place de la Concorde and the Arc of Triumph. Pretty nice spot indeed. But to get a seat you have to get there earlier than I do.

Place de la Concorde

Fountain at the Place
Made my way from the 1st district all the way to the 18th by walking. The 18th, the area called Montmartre is the cute, "old Paris" part of the city. Chilled in front of the steps of Sacre Coeur where one gets an amazing view of the city. Apparently everyone else has the same idea of going here and hanging out.

This guy sang songs in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish

After being harassed by a creeper and giving out fake emails (sorry if anyone gets emails from him), my friend and I had to sadly leave Sacre Coeur. We hit up the river Seine next and sat by the river til it grew dark. We then headed to the Eiffel tower cuz we kinda missed her, and she had been calling out to us with her searchlight :)
