Day 67

Ok, so some people might not think to visit a cemetery while in a different country, but hey I'm here for four months and there are famous people buried here at Pere Lachaise cemetery.

It's a city for the dead

In Memory of the France-Brazil flight that crashed a couple of years ago

Oscar Wilde's tomb, covered in glass because the tradition is to kiss the tomb and was probably damaging it

Writer: Oscar Wilde

Singer: Edith Piaf's tomb

Actor/Writer: Moliere

Writer: La Fontaine

Singer: Jim Morrison (apparently the tradition here was to have sex or do drugs on his grave)

Monument to the dead

Just happened to come across a march for aid in Syria
